Honestly I would side with Liebgott. I asked Shane multiple times to leave me alone back in the day, he refused to do so and kept making fun of me. One can only take a joke so far, intrawebs or not. Ultimately he was the reason I vowed never ever ever to come back.

FWIW: Back in the day more than a few of us felt that his taking control of the board was a bad thing and the end result would be bad and thus it was for many of us. I even said it myself multiple times...

I have nothing against him other than he is an ass in my eyes. If your 30 some odd years old you dont belong being a jerkoff to people period. Some fun is ok, but he took it way to far. Tbh I dont care anymore..but the above is my attitude from back then. Yes I know perhaps my views are a bit radical, but no more than some other peoples ideals.

I honestly never got in any deep trouble except for the occasional remark here and there.

I remember on TMH I was talking to Strod one night and we were seeing how many threads I could "kill" in one night. I pretty much ended up killing like 10 threads.

Gotta agree with CJM and Lieb, Though the final straw of my banning was my own doing, Just like CJM there were many things that lead up to the meltdown, both on the forums for me and in private...

We have our own personal views on certain topics and those views seemed to make us targets, It may not have even been completely obvious to most but many many times little nit picking and smart ass comments from certain individuals directed at us because of those views sure didn't make us want to play nice...

and the good riddance posts and sarcastic comments in reply to our bans was sure nice...

No doubt, I myself hold no grudges if I did I would not be here nor would those of us who have spoken...

Just keep in mind those of us who have aired our grievances never got to back then, when we tried we got warned threatened and picked at...

this was long before we even became a thorn... Just like CJM I went directly to em and got nothing but BS comments and smart ass remarks when I tried to talk things out about potential issues before they became real issues...

But because none of this was ever aired publicly, we were made out to look like the assholes who just randomly snapped for no apparent reason... when thats not what happened.

With that said if he signs up tomorrow I could careless.


Everyone here that I know, I have no problems with I talked to several of the mods regularly who more then likely had a part in my ban all the time back then, I don't blame them for that ban I broke forum rules and deserved it, they were just doing there jobs.

Its good to talk about it ya know like Cole said. I hold no grudge, there are just some people in this world ya dont like..ya know?

It was my own doing when I was banned somewhat. I need to say this for piece of mind. I drunkenly suggested I was gonna go to valve or wherever that gabe guy was and demand HL2 with guns a blazing or something. I meant it as a joke, but ShellShock was right in that it was harmful to the boards as I was a mod and it was disrespectfull.

The other half of it with Shane was just him being an ass, like Cole and many others we tried to reason with him and all we got was bull. Infact I have somewhere saved aim convos with him, where all he does is bs me while I am trying to resolve any conflicts. Infact I just read one of them and he talks about zao marrying sheep..really

But this is it, I dont care anymore. I just needed to say my piece.

I don't think its fair to talk about people when they are not here to defend themselves. I know people want to "justify their ban" and such but its not really anyones place to rant it out. I'd welcome any of the old staff members to join up, as I have done and would expect no personal attacks whatsoever.

I don't think anyone here is going to think along the lines of "Oh that was the guy who stepped out of line and got banned, I must hate him" here. We all know theres more than what meets the eye to every story, so lets try and leave the past in the past and make a fresh start, whatever grudges you may hold against anyone.

I honestly didn't have a problem with any of the mods, Shane included. He's a nice guy. You have to remember that the old forums were a commercially owned site. What was said there, whether good or bad reflected unto Valve. They had set rules they had to enforce.

Your thick skull absorbs most of the impact when you smack down on the grassy meridian, this is where you will probably lose consciousness, and than you tumble viciously shattering most of your spine and a grocery list of other bones.

You wake up in a very lucid state. You have been having awful dreams about the internet and you notice the immense amount of drool pooling up around your lips and cheek. You hear a menacing noise, a sort of low rumbling with quick snaps.
