Their is no evidence of any investors or anyone getting money off the stock market from this incident. How is Bush supposed to react? How did you react in that situation, anybody who heard about that event was shocked. Does it matter where the plane hit? What, would you rather it hit where a ton of people were?

They're false or reading too far into nothing. By the "investors" they're probably talking about Larry Silverstein (OMG JEEEEEWS!!). Who took out a $3.5b insurance policy on a $3.2b investment, which would not even cover the projected costs of reconstruction if something were to happen to the towers. An insurance fraud scam in which you stand to break even at best, and more than likely lose millions of dollars, is a pretty stupid one.

Or they're talking about the put options on United Airline's stock, which were a little higher than usual but not exceptional; in 2001 alone they had hit the 8,000 mark twice well before 9/11.

2.) Buildings on fire are a lot easier to film steadily from a slow-moving or stationary helicopter than POLICE CHASES, which involve camera "targets" moving and require the helicopter to do a lot of maneuvering.

I had just flown in that morning and landed in Dallas (red-eye) and just woken up. So in my jet lagged state I was wondering why NBC was running a movie and how they got Tom Brokaw in it. Then I kept watching and realized it was really happening. I went and let woke up my mom to let her know and just as we came back to the TV, plane #2 hit.

I can remember going through a multitude of emotions in the following few seconds, and again when the towers actually fell. Most of them dealt with extreme violence towards those responsible.

For the few months afterward, I'd hoped that the new found unity the world seemed to have found would last and that, horrible as it would be, those people's deaths would have served a greater purpose by uniting the globe and engendering a sense of peace. Now it looks like all they died for was shitty bumper stickers/magnets, paranoia and fear made into policy, and an even more fractured international society.

watched that clip. i find it interesting how they like to use distance and haze to explain one thing away (no background) but it apparently cant work both ways in that it made it easy to see the plane.

I really dont understand the logic when there are so many angels that you do see a plane hit with a consistant impact in each.
