I sorta dug myself into a hole. I'm writing this essay in my writing class, thats a comparison and contract piece, about protesters, and politicians. Everyone seems to sorta be picking a side in their paper. I wanted to have no side, and leave the reader with the feeling that they should listen to themselves. My main focus is how both sides lie. Lies for the sake of good right ? Well, anyhoo i need to really develop on this, and its not very clear. I talked to my teacher for almost an hour after class the other day, and she gave me some pointers, and ideas where to go. The only problem is, after that i went home, did my math homework, went and skateboared, then smoked weed, then came home, and couldn't remember anything she said to me. Lame me.
ANYHOO im gonna just look down at this paper and type it out, so im not gonna worry to much about editing, i just wanna throw it up here, maybe someone could read it a little, help me out. Thanks.
The People Versus Politician's. Who's right ?
Protesters and politicians share many similarities, one of which would be lying. Both have negative and positive sides that almost hopelessly oscillate in limbo while the masses pick and choose, like at a salad bar.
protesters have a unique charisma about the way they lie. Egotistically assuming they are the white on the ying yang, they have the ability to believe their own propaganda. Efficient at producing results, the protesters demand a side to be taken, which naturally induces emotion, leaving the victim bias, and artificially opinionated.
protesters complain a lot about main stream media, which I believe correlates into the government on many different levels. What protesters fail to understand is that as long as they live in this country, there is a cheese burger being made every second, at Macdonald's, JUST for them. And as long as they live in America, the government will continue to generate the economy in the direction that best suites the needs of the highest dollar, and concentrates on the well being of investors, and the like, rather then the well being of the trees and mountain sides. The government is going to do what needs to be done to insure its constant flow of power. This is something that has been in motion since the first white settlers of this country, who founded America on piracy.
If you don't like how this country is being run, then move to another one. Just because you protest, doesn't mean the government is going to stop what its doing. Rather then being annoying for everyone else, just go live somewhere that isn't based on greed and secrets. Its best to understand, rather then just know. I understand why the government works the way it does (TMH actually i don't) and in turn I live with it. Once ive reached the point in which i actually hate the government, then its my right as an American to move. and move I shall.
All Mainstream politicians are liars. Politics is the art of determining how organized force is to be used in society.
Every democratic president since woodrow wilson, and every republican president since Herbert Hoover, has increased the size and power of the federal government. And with that, comes less concern for the environment, and not to mention human lives.
Unfortunately America has a hard time coming to terms with the fact that more weapons are produced in the United States, and sold worldwide, then anywhere else on earth. (TMH totally pulled that out my ass. Is that true ? lol) An expert in propaganda, America manifests solutions, using economic resources, such as firearms. (TMH do fire arms count as economic resources ?) Soon after the problem is then stated, only to be met with the solution.
"fueled by surging sales, the u.s firearm business has reached a solid, robust level. All indicators point to an energized industry, with the u.s firearm manufacturers, reporting increased production to meet the growing demand of the marketplace. distributors and importers are enjoying brisk business and dealers indicate a surge in firearm sales"
"the firearm industry today as all the markers for continued growth. In addition, the industry has a record of successes in political and legislative battles. "
The government should be upfront in its doings, and never hide the fact that if it wasn't for pirate mentality, this country would maybe still belong to the Indian, and we'd all be in england, drinking tea. Or something like that.
In conclusion, I feel that a lot of people are clueless to how the world turns. Rather then trying to shut something down, due to it being the opposite of what you think, I just wish they would go the extra mile to actually, not just know. This can be applied to both protesters and politicians. Like i sad, they both share many similarities, which is maybe why no one can seem to get along. Despite what protesters think, you can't stop hundreds of years of blood lines, and despite what politicians think, you can't over look the generators of the economy. "They've got the guns, but we've got the triggers" - D.I
