In Iraq and Iran women are forced into prostitution to make a living. Men often sexualy abuse women but will execute women for "Honour Crimes". Also a woman can not testify or make a charge in court if there is no male witness.
I'm all for people followng thier faith. But when you want to kill me simply because I have different beliefs? Well that's definatly back to the times of Mohamad.

People always declare that the western world is as war mongering and evil as the terrorist groups they fight, but I'd like to ask just who it is who sends millions or billions of dollars in financial aid when disasters happen? Or sends money on a routine basis to countries that are struggling just to feed people? Who will actually divert their military forces to said disaster areas and prove they're not just a bunch of kids paid to kill (I'm speaking especially of those two aircraft carriers that have been used as desalination plants during both the recent tsunamis)? Who sends our own food, medical supplies, doctors, teachers, and volunteers in to physically help with cleanup and rebuilding?

The western world may not be perfect, but it's a helluva lot better than Al Qaeda or the Medhi Army or Cobra Commandos or whoever we're fighting today.

Agreed, I've read a lot about the "Islamic State" ideal so I don't make an ignorant call on it. I have no problem with anyone practicing their faith, like you said, its just the ones who want to kill me for not sharing their belief.
