Besides the fact that vista sucks I have to use it for this computer. Right now, I'm currently having a problem where my DVD's won't burn onto a disc. Windows DVD Maker burns to about 99.0% and then stops. I don't know what to fuck to do and the help and support doesn't help. Also, I can't get do Windows Update anymore, it refuses to work for me now.

Why not back track from update to a point where it did worked before?

That's the thing. I don't know when it worked before. The last DVD I burned was in May...

Any chance of it being a hardware issue? Have you tried burning a DVD with any other software?

I'm surprised Windows DVD Maker actually worked for you. I've had nothing but problems with it.

Well everytime I log on, the screen is completely black with nothing there except for the documents box. I have to type in cmd, then explorer once that goes on, but Vista is just a piece of shit for me.

You clearly suck at computers. If explorer doesn't even boot when you log in then you got yourself a lot more problems than a simple DVD burning issue.

Check the side of the computer is there a sticker with a Product Key on it? If not you need to contact the place you purchased it from
Ritchy is right.

Another issue is copyright and security protection with vista. My bud dloads pirated movies and had to go back to xp. Vista's security stopped him from burning. I don't know exactly why as I never do that. It's like fucking every hooker on the block with no protection. Yer gonna get somthin.
I think vista has contracted Syphilis.

Depends on the parts you use and where you get them.

Yea, theirs a sticker on the side. I've had a problem before with it, and when I entered in the product key on the side, it didn't work.

What version does the product key say it is?
They may have installed a different version than what they key is for.
Double check cus with that key all you need is to find someone else with the same vista version.
And WHIPE THE KLINGON'S OFF URANIS!!!!

If there's no disk, there's probably a restoration partition on the drive. When you boot up, keep an eye out for a button to push for a boot menu, hit it, and see what comes up.

Depends on the system bit ours here is F11. I tried to restore the fucked up computer but the partition is gone.
However it's best to have the disk and a Product key.
Just remember the partition restore can also whipe it to the factory settings.

Reroute the encryption and establish a data uplink with the mainframe access terminal. From there your data nodes should be at 70%. You will want to install overdrive 3.2 to increase your data node capacity to the optimal levels.
