As you know, I'm taking the ASVAB, and I'm fine on everything in the Math section now except for Quadrilateral equations. They're explained very poorly in the book I have and the internets doesn't really help.

I need help with all types except the x^2=54 types.

Thanks bros.

I recently took the ASVAB, and I didn't see that particular equation when I took it. What branch and job are you trying to get?

I myself have enlisted into the Marine Corps.

the ASVAB was easy, I don't remember too many of those types of questions on it, but that was over 5 years ago.

Oh and afallen1, don't go into the Corps!! I was just in it for the last 5 years. Don't do it! Do the Air Force, you'll be much happier

I'm doing Army, 13M. MLRS Operator.

The Corps has the shittiest living conditions ever.

Also Liebgott, my recruiter said the same thing about it.. said I should do fine.

It would've been better to know this ahead of time, however, I've already enlisted, and will be shipping out in about 3-4 weeks. lol. Had I known, I may have chosen a different branch.

Besides living conditions, how was marine corps life?

You can still not go, you aren't held to your contract until after you graduate boot camp. So if you don't want to go, you don't have to and can enlist in any other service. If your recruiter tries to tell you different, it isn't true and tell him you want to talk to his SNCOIC. Marine Corps life sucks as a Pvt-Cpl and gets a little better at Sgt. I hope you thick skin. Be ready to get treated like shit and clean the bathroom a thousand times. Enjoy every Thursday night cleaning your room and getting inspected by 10 different people, and then again in the morning before the Company inspects. You have to maintain your uniforms at all times so you will be ready for an inspection at a moments notice.

I don't regret joining, but if I could do it over, I would have joined the Air Force, better jobs, better bases to be stationed at, no deployments longer then 3-4 months, and better looking women. the women in the Marine Corps look like Chewbacca

lol. Ah, well, I'm pretty thick skinned, and for the most part, I don't even fit the physical profile of a marine. however, I am pretty set on joining, even though I know things are going to be shit. You never know, each person has a different account based on their own experiences. But I do appreciate telling me about your views on it. I will take that to mind.

And it is true, most women do, however I have met a few that aren't too bad looking, of course they're all going to Paris Island, while I'll be sent to San Diego...damn. :bwarr:

lol, while some people have different experiences, almost everyone says they hate it, except for the few Marines who stay enlisted for 20-30 years. If anything go officer.

Oh and the things that I mentioned, are the same in every unit, and worse in infantry units.
