well shopping for a laptop with an english OS here in JP is very hard. i heard that if you install an english OS on a japanese computer it will start doing all sorts of crazy stuff. anyways i recently installed firefox and i wanna watch some videos on youtube so i go there and says i need to install flash player so i say ok go ahead. i install it, restart firefox and the computer and whatnot and go back to youtube and still says i need to install it. so wtf, thats one problem

my other problem is i try to use facebook, and i try to leave messages or update my status or click the little icon at the bottom to talk to my friends and it wont let me do anything. and it does the same thing sometimes with my hotmail. i try to open an email and it wont let me, i write an email and try to send it and it wont let me. so wtf

im gonna have my bro send me xp but that might take a week or longer to get here. so how bout helping me out? whats going on?

oh can u guys recommend vista compatible firewall and antivirus (both free)?

You should've bought a laptop in USA before going to Japan.

To install Flash in Vista you need to use IE as an administrator.

Anything else, I do not know.

Malware Bytes Anti-Malware is free and pretty comprehensive. Anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc. Doesn't self update, but small trade off.
