Fathers side-

Mostly Irish from in and around Dublin. Got one Chinese great grand mother from that side and Liam Tobin is a relation according to my Grand Father, but he was a massive drunk (died of it) and often said he saw ghosts, so make of that what you will.

Mothers side-

Mostly Welsh from Cardiff and the valleys but with a few Spanish thrown in, which is how my sisters dark hair gets explained, although I'm still swinging with the 'my mam is a whore' reason tbh.

Paternal granddad survived the battle of hong kong. During the occupation, he was bashed on the head with a wine bottle by a japanese soldier. Later lived to 101 years! In your face Japan. Also may be related to a famous Confucian scholar and a Chinese general, according to my dad. Sweet.
