    I dont know much about MACs but dont they still suck dick in the games department? Can you run Crysis on one ? Can you get top-spec graphics cards for them - not 7600's but like new post 9 series Nvidia cards ?



    Will the Pop-Cap games section on Steam just have its name changed to MAC-games section

    P.S. Macs have "Boot Camp" which allows you to boot into Windows. I just got off my Win7 partition from playing "Just Cause 2" at top tier graphics via my Mac Pro.

    Fair nuff, I wasnt aware of them.

    edit/ fuck - £1K for a graphics card ??!?!?!! I'm meaning consumer cards, ones that normal people buy, not professional industry cards. What 'card' does your Mac Pro have ?

    Afaik you can whack any graphics card in them outside of Apple control, you may need to do a little tweaking.

    That said my old iMac has a 256MB X1600 card in it and will quite happily run Source games at medium settings/hdr/no AA at 1400*900.

    Newer laptops have mobile 9xxx series cards which apparently are pretty good.

    Ugh finally, been waiting on this for a very long time.But, will I be able to load my current orange box disk onto the mac steam platform? Probably not.Just read the article, I just love how steam reveals things to the public.
