Will Obama get a second term?

Obama will win. Unless the GOP finds a black guy to run against him he'll be re-elected. The race card will strike again. Obama promised change and to the minorities he gave them change. A first black president and not Bush. Mission accomplished. A lot of people just wanted a black president and didn't care about anything else. They got what they wanted, they'll vote for him again. Its fucked up.

I couldn't disagree more, especially since only 12.1% of voters in 2008 were black.

and i wanted to add, either way. i believe that the divide between republicans and democrats is the cause of a lot of problems. the parties need to work together, not against eachother

There is nothing stopping Hillary from resigning and running once again against Obama. 2014 could be her year.

As for a black Republican, Alan Keyes or J.C. Watts would be my choice.

Black people aren't the only ones who voted for him because of that, though.

Nothing except common sense. She'd be fighting against a strong incumbent from her own party and coming off as slimy and disloyal while she's at it. She'd be beaten handily in the primaries and wouldn't have a prayer of getting elected ever again, all while making the Democrats look divided and weak.

As for a black Republican, Alan Keyes or J.C. Watts would be my choice.

Alan Keyes is a liability. Kinda hard to stress "family values" with a lesbian daughter. That, and he got wrapped up in the whole birther thing. The GOP doesn't treat its candidates kindly in the primaries. J.C. Watts might be a good candidate but he'd need to really work on name recognition, like, right now to have a fighting chance.
