Worth a long shot!!!
I assume you mean a cycle, Cappy?. Don't know anyone who is selling one at the mo' ( although I'm thinking about selling my Pinarello and putting the proceeds towards another £1000 allowance on my works Cyclescheme ).
Have a look on the Bike Radar and Cyclechat forums in the classifieds section, usually loads of bikes for sale there at pretty good prices. What is your budget?. Is it a bike to use for your Bertie events?.

Yep, one for the Lands End to John O'Groats and another for the London to Paris - Thinking about a Gyro 300 although I just found a decent Trek 5.1 going at a good price so seeing if it is still available (£450 I think he wants, which is roughly my budget!)
You will have to come and join us on part of the John O'Groats ;)
£450 for a Trek 5.1 Madone?. That's a more than decent price!!. When are you up in my neck of the woods on the event?.

I haven't made my mind up m8. I was thinking of going for a Ribble Gran Fondo ( and speccing it up to about the £2k mark using the Ribble Bike Builder tool ) or one of the new Bianchi C2C's this year but I'm not sure. The FP1 I have is more than capable of everything I do on it so I would really only be changing for the sake of it. That said, with the missus expecting, a new bike would be an unnecessary expense if I'm honest.
Mind you, every time I see the Gran fondo, I'm drooling :-

Come on, part with it...it only makes sense ;) It's for charity, man! Do you know much about road bikes then? I was thinking about a Gyro 300 as they seem to be a reasonable budget bike
