This game looks amazing, visually. I grabbed it today but god knows when I'll get time to play it at any length.

THERE IS A FISH JUMPING OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER.

Seen flocks of birds taking off from me, eagles or hawks soaring around, lightning bugs and butterflies, rabbits and other wildlife running around. edit: bees, dragon flies, elk, rams, foxes. Adds a bit to the environment. Watching the fog move along on the mountain sides is nice too.

A custom high texture pack for environments, which i dont doubt will be eventually made seeing as they were made for oblivion and fallout, will make it look even better.

yes you have to "favorite them" and then from the favorites menu you can push 1,2,3, etc when you are hovering over them. double tap spells to dual wield them. haven't figured out how to dual wield weapons with hotkeys yet - let me know if you figure that one out.

The game is sumptuously detailed, immersive, visceral and just awesome. If you're not playing it... I feel sorry for you.

16 hours played so far and have barely scratched the surface. This is going to take a while to complete... a long while. Just look at the achievements and you know there is a outlandish fuckton of stuff to do.

    im liking it too.

Had a really random encounter yesterday while running down a valley a long a river.

A dragon randomly attacked me for the first time and started lighting me on fire so i ran in circles for a few moments then went up and hit him with my mace once then decided that wasnt a good idea so i switched to magic and hid under a fallen tree partially sticking out in the air.

Hit him with some magic until he took of flying again then it saw a bear i took a detour around, flew over and hovered turning the bear into a flaming ball of fur. Then it saw another animal across the river and did a passing strafe with fire on it. Meanwhile two mammoths and a giant are losing their shit trying to run away from it but it catches up and lands near them on the other side of the river bank.

I start running over to attack again and the mammoths and giant start fighting the dragon, then a freaking pack of wolves out of no where come in and start attacking both the mammoths and dragon. I kept thinking they would eventually all turn on me and i would have to run my ass off.
When it was all over i thought the giant was gonna come after me next but i used a mammoth to hide behind until i could walk away. fun fight.

There's a lot more interesting environments in this than oblivion too.

Good to know, ive just been hitting Q and selecting things from there, which is a bit annoying when you want to dual wield magic.

Played roughly an hour on the ps3 so far. Menus are a bitch to get used to. Still though, hella beautiful and gameplay is awesome. Can't wait to fight my first dragon
