My account had a block on it for some reason. Just got it sorted. Allthough the bitch on xbox live support tried to tell me I had to have a GOLD account just to download my profile.... Total bullshit. Got it working now. Just gotta subscribe to gold next month to do some mw3 goodness.

Just beat mw3 on Hard playthrough. Was fun, very cinematic. I didn't mind having to "wait" for the story to progress too much. For the most part it was well paced. Visuals were amazing. All in all, very fun. Wish it had a few more longer and epic missions. It was mainly a bunch of little stutter steps that made up a pretty short story. But ohh well, I got it for the mp anyway.

SP was alright (did it on hard myself), but they've done waaay too much of the same thing. Most of the game consists of:

- Your helicopter/plane/boat/car/building gets blown up, leading to--
- You wake up in media res while shit is blowing up around you
- You get stuck in the middle of someplace and have to fight your way to an extraction point
- The extraction point gets blown up
- You get shot in the face, from which you may or may not survive
- A main character almost dies, but then...doesn't

In any case, it was fun, especially the minigames where you control the AC130/drones, it's just annoying to see the same shit over and over. Plus, I wanted to see the Army dudes from MW2 again.

However, I've been massively disappointed with the MP. I think the main issue is lag, hitreg and compensation, I feel like I'm always at a disadvantage--don't even think about playing with 3 bars. No idea how they fucked it up since MW2 was great. Even the matchmaking is a bitch, especially for parties, and there's no local only option. WTF IW.

Most of the guns don't feel right IMO (the PP90 is amazing though) and bullet damage drop off is frustrating, grenades have been nerfed to hell, tactical grenades are a JOKE, a lot of the killstreaks are either useless or OP, and the spawning and maps are generally just not very good. Top that all off with cheap, bitch ass players and the game is just a ragefest for a rusher like me.

If I see you on though, we should play. Just expect me to be terrible and flip my shit every 10 seconds.

I know what you mean about a lot of that stuff. I just try to have a class for different maps/playstyles. I'll adjust the way I play to how others are playing and what map it is. A lot of times I have fun with my deadsilent class. All the "can't see me on map/in xhairs" perks, and use silent weapons. I manage to get all up in the enemy and fuck them up.

Grenades are almost useless. I normally get lucky far throws, and when I know they are on a cap point or something. Love dropping bouncing betties in high traffic areas. I've rarely had problems with hit reg though.

Playing with a lot of different weapons, i've found they are all pretty much lethal, just gotta know use your surroundings and such just like you would in any other games. Always move so you'll be at an advantage when facing enemies.
