have you thought about sea-monkeys ? They're kinda like nano bots in the sense that they do stuff. Like poop and then eat it and swim around. I highly suggest getting these little guys, they're fun to look at swim around the inside your computer.

"Biocide." pffffft. These guys have a fucking racket.
You know what kills anything and won't do shit basically until you need a new rig? Bleach. I dunno about its thermal qualities, but a 10% or lower solution shouldn't fuck it up too bad, and is significantly more than enough to keep your motherboard from getting herpes. It is corrosive, but bleach you buy at the store is already 3% anyway. A .3% solution of NaClO might give the inside of your pipes an attractive patina in a year or two. Oh noes.

Dangers of Water:
Each year, water is a known causative component in many thousands of deaths and is a major contributor to millions upon millions of dollars in damage to property and the environment. Some of the known perils of water are:
- Death due to accidental inhalation of water, even in small quantities.
- Prolonged exposure to solid water causes severe tissue damage.
- Excessive ingestion produces a number of unpleasant though not typically life-threatening side-effects.
- Water is a major component of acid rain.
- Gaseous water can cause severe burns.
- Contributes to soil erosion.
- Leads to corrosion and oxidation of many metals.
- Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
- Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
- Found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions.
- Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.
- Often associated with killer cyclones in the U.S. Midwest and elsewhere, and in hurricanes including deadly storms in Florida, New Orleans and other areas of the southeastern U.S.
- Thermal variations in water are a suspected contributor to the El Nino weather effect.
