    Post TMH's Body Transformation Thread

    Hey guys. I've finally had enough of being a fat nasty. It's caused me a good deal of depression over the past few years and I'm finally making a serious change. I'm going to be keeping log of my progress, how I feel and such on the road to transforming myself. Also doing this on the bodybuilding.com forums but IDK how supportive that community is, I know you fa....gentlemen and the 3rd party motivation will help me a great deal in sticking to my guns.

    Hello Folks, Creepy D here.

    Main goal. Get down to 185-200lbs, be strong, n look good.

    I got out of the Marines just over a year ago. I was already letting my body slip before that. Too much partying, eating nasty foods, being lazy, video games. Since I've been out I've moved to Canada(vancouver), gotten married, and packed on another 40LBS.
    So now I'm sitting at 260lbs. Wayyyy out of shape. Since I can't work here(waiting on paperwork), and because my sanity and happiness levels are dive bombing, I'm going to be hitting the gym hard for the next few months.

    With a combination of dieting and working my ass off in the gym I hope to drop at least 60lbs by october.

    I've joined mainly so I can have a kind of 3rd party motivation to keep myself focused and on the ball. It's also nice to be able to track all my stats on the dashboard so I'll be utilizing that when I get it all figured out.

    I'll start posting base/progress pics tomorrow. A side affect of all the wave gain has been some nasty ass stretch marks :/ Anyone got good tips on how to reduce the things?

    MYPLAN- Starting on the 1st of Feb($$$)

    Supps:
    4Ever Fit Ephedrine HCL Pure 8mg (Oral Nasal Decongestant), 50 Tablets w/ Caffeine Pill to round out a nice EC stack.
    100% WHEY GOLD STANDARD
    Fish Oil


    Foods:
    Boneless,skinless chicken breast grilled. w/ side salad sometime(lots and lots)
    Tuna(lots and lots)
    Vegetables(lots and lots)
    Peanut butter, light amounts of seasoning, hot sauce to flavor things up
    Steak, lean cut(only on occasion)
    Pasta(on occasion)

    Mainly going to live off of chicken, tuna, and vegetables for a while. I'm going to get sick of it and hate it, but I've had amazing success with this diet before combined with insane work outs.


    Workout:
    I work each group 2-3 times a week. These are divided by what groups I'll do that day/workout.

    Chest/Tri's/Legs
    Declined Dumbell Press 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 65/70/75 lbs
    Flat Dumbell Press 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 65/70/75 lbs
    Incline Dumbess Press 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 50/55/60 lbs
    Dumbell Chest Fly 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 25/30/35 lbs
    Cable Chest fly 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 120/135/150 lbs

    Tricep Cable Press Down 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 60/75/90 lbs
    Tricep Cable pull down 1arm 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 30/35/40 lbs
    Tricep Cable Extension 1arm 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 30/35/40 lbs
    Tricep Cable Pull Down 3 sets 12/10/8 reps @ 60/75/90 lbs
    Tricep Dumbell Overhead Press 3 sets 20/15/10 reps @ 80/85/90 lbs

    Legs Have been slightly neglected lately because of old injuries. But I'm getting back into squats, extensions, lunges. It's just going to go slow so I can rebuild the strength in my knees and my confidence with uping the weight.

    Height 5'7" 260lbs
    Chest: 50"
    Arms: 18.5"
    Hips: 51"
    Waist: 48"
    Thighs: 28"
    Calves: 17"
    Forearms: 13.5"
    Neck: 18"

    So yea, hoping to shed tons of that fat, reduce the look of the stretch marks, and get stronger.

    Just went and picked up my ephedrine and caffeine pills. Getting some whey on the 1st.

    In all seriousness though, how about a TMH "Get fitter / lose weight" thread?. Since my missus went back to work full time in September last year after our son was born, my spare time for fitness training, cycling my usual 36 miles to work 4 times a week and my weekend mountain biking has been knocked squarely on the head. Couple that up with my work after getting promoted last year to Crew Commander / Lieutenant meaning I end up sat in the watch room for hours on end doing admin shit when the rest of the troops are down the station gym and I've seen a hike in my weight. I've never been 14 stone / 90kg in my life and although I'm 6 ft tall and carry the weight ok, it isn't my ideal number. This year I'm looking to proactively change that and get back down to @12 stone /78kg.

    Cocoa butter is what pregnant women use to prevent stretchmarks, I'm not sure how well it works for existing stretchmarks but it should help. There are specific topical treatments for scars/stretchmarks that can help, but I'm not sure how effective they are--could just be snake oil. Losing weight might help also them heal on their own, mine certainly became less noticable as I lost some weight (still a fat fuck though, that has to change).
