    I can see it for snipers, but regular soldiers it's pretty impractical.

    I seem to recall seeing something similar on Future Weapons several years ago. Either way, that one comment is pure ignorance.

    It's a fucking bullet traveling well past the speed of sound and dropping at a rate of 9.8 m/s². It is not an artillery shell. You need a line of sight to hit someone with a bullet, it's not a goddamned magic turn on a dime spacecraft. It will not navigate hallways, it will not snap around corners, it will only bend slightly to be more accurate. Ok, done griping.

    Either way, it'll be a sniper only weapon, IF it works.
