I am doing pretty good! I am a professional writer these days (and one that actually earns a livable wage - 'sup with that?), writing company copy by day and comics, movies and other crap by night. Since finishing my military history degree in 2006 I have done a slew of jobs including driving for Mercedes, being a security guard, working in pharmaceuticals and special effects, being a watch inspector and working in a spice factory... so being able to use my writing talents is a godsend. Still in the fire and rescue service, slowly climbing the ranks. Well, I've got my foot on the first rung of the ladder ( excuse the pun ) as a crew commander. In my 22nd year now. Got married in 2008, we had a baby boy in March last year. He's 1 now and is absolutely amazing. Still daft on motorcycles and ticking away nicely part time with web design. I've not played DoD in years. Did anyone from the old webstaff who went over to the new Steam forums as staff actually stay on there and still posts there?. Initially I think a lot of us headed over to see how it panned out but eventually left through lack of interest and the fact that the boards just weren't the same any more. I haven't logged in there in ages, don't even know if my old forum account exists. Some great DoD times, initial interest and learning the ropes was fun. First clan, ran my own clan for a while and competed in the Jolt League. Joined [TFS] The Firing Squad with Penfold and JoJo and laterly, Cappy. Beta testing Source was a lot of fun ( I've still got the signed Valve poster). Great times testing on the [CoJ] server with Fuzzdad, Shane and all the Valve guys as well as the DoDTeam server and Mikes Marauders. Good times.
