    Default Swearing

The big question...do we allow it here?

For text there are basic word filters (which you can optionally disable in your user control panel)

This doesn't cover images, however which is was the poll is largely about.

Imo yes. We're not linked with valve so why not.
While I could always understand it in the Official dod forum, having it here just makes things more lenient (Sp). I'm quite against censoring of swearing, especially in a mature war game forum. Partial censoring is ok, because it's the best of both worlds, you can tell which word it is, but it doesn't display the whole word. But imo just have all words uncensored. I think most of us here are pretty mature by now.

    My thoughts exactly.

I think it should be allowed but if someone starts using it ridiculously, action can be taken on a case-by-case basis.

Absolutely. Swearing isn't always bad. It can be used in good ways.

I personally am of the opinion "shit yeah"!

Yes. It's especially tiresome to have to edit pictures that contain cussing and obscenities.
