We wouldn't have to talk about Iraq if we just left

I still believe Iraq had WMD's but moved them before the war. Also, I think that it is a good idea to battle insurgents elsewhere(like Iraq and Afghanistan) than our own soil. They aren't just going to go away if we leave there.

Didn't you read the article that Saddam made that claim up so Iran wouldn't invade? He never thought that we would come in and actually invade.

Israel puts Illegal WMDs to shame, but thats "ok"

Just think about what you just said, Insurgents, Those insurgents are created due to our presence, If we pull out They have no one to kill, and you can bet your ass, as much as I disagree with the current system here and the clown running it, that id fight every bastard who dares to come here and tell me how my country should be run, quit simply if they wanted the freedom they would fight for it without us, and the funny thing about those who support this war is, no one gave a rats ass about those poor Iraqs for nearly 13 years...

We patrolled damn near 2/3 of that country for those 13 years, We knew exactly where those so called WMD's weren't...

This administration always claims "if we know then what we know now, we would have done things differently" well Cheney knew....

    they are lying treasonous fucks...

And remember who this is coming from... there were many heated debates on DodMod about such things and I defended this douche bag...

So this isn't coming from someone who just dislikes the jerk for no reason, I've been on that side of the fence...

So, you believe the insurgents are going to follow us by swimming across the Atlantic and fight their civil war on our streets? Just like how the Viet Cong continued to make attacks and bombing runs in the US after we stopped involving ourselves in Vietnam?

By Insurgents I meant to include Hezbollah and Al Queda. And yes, I do.

And Vietnam was different and you know that.

And Cole, its not ok. I don't support Israel, or their WMD's. I'm sick of seeing signs on the highway about Israel.

The Insurgents aren't created by our presence. They are born into extremism all over the place, but come to fight us where they can since they now have the chance. If they had the chance I am sure they would come here. Even though they already have. I didn't ask for 9/11. Or the first WTC bombing, or that extremist to stand outside of CIA headquarters and mow people down on the highway, or the planned attempt to blow up a bomb on the millennium celebrations.

The ones created by our presence would be the Iraqi's that live there. They aren't Insurgents.

I didn't agree with the first gulf war or Vietnam, or Korea, or helping the Afghans against the Soviets. But just because I think they're wrong, doesn't change what is happening today. I don't want my kids to grow up in a world where they have to fear constant threats and attacks from extremists of any kind.

I wish people could just get along but sadly I never see that happening while Religion, Racial Intolerance, and greed still exists.
