So, as part of the internship that I'm currently in I'm working on a blog devoted to video games, and need some ideas for topics to discuss. It can range from tech/game reviews to industry news to development or release leaks, basically anything that falls into the category of gaming or that gamers will care about is fair game.

So far I've talked about the ramifications that Blu-Ray winning the format war will have on gaming. Other topics I plan on talking about:
Speculations on Spore
Halo 3 vs. Call of Duty 4
Wii innovations (like that P.O.V. thing that was posted in TMH)

Haha. I usually hate to do that, but the primary goal of this site is to generate traffic and publicity for our upcoming product launch, so it might be a good thing. Besides, I'm pretty balanced in general, and like both games. It won't be "this one is better," but rather comparing the pros and cons.

PC Gaming dying? which entails other stuff...devs seeing PC as afterthought, devs turning their backs on PC (Epic?), etc.

Agreed.

I just bought a Nintendo Wii and I just read on Engadget that they may lower the price of the XBOX 360 yet again! Also the fact that the Sony PSP will support GPS and the new God of War edition comes with Superbad and another game!

It's all just so tempting.

P.S. I've been playing my Wii all day which is the reason I haven't been on much!

If you wanna generate traffic, Halo 3 VS Call of Duty 4 VS Crysis would be a good way. If you wanna actually make new and interesting topics, try discussing the huge boom in casual gaming and what that might mean for finding new platforms and avenues of development (i.e. resurgence of garage game development).
