1.3b on WON2 again

Now seems to be workin as i got everything workin without being flakey.This what i had to do,install hl then 1110 patch then i added sturmbot 1.1 then 1.1.1.2 Final.The most inportant thing i found was dod was to flakely in full screen mode keeps crashing and with sound issues .As soon as i added C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -win -console -game dod in my shortcut and ran in windowed mode everything works as it should every time even with bots or so it seems.SV_LAN is set to 0.All i need now is some you lazy bastards to help me by trying to join a game please.All the files you need are on forums some ware and 111.2 final patch can be found at Won2.

I know that b3.1 works though. You have to run Sturmbot 1.5 instead of 1.6, but it works, and quite well. I will mention that it's highly unlikely any mod that was made for HL1108 won't also work with HL1110--so unless you know it won't work, you should patch up to 1110, not 1108

i thought i posted in this thread, but i said "whats the point of this, cant you just play on steam?"

Both of you ignore this thread go here instead@sog and Tyler.Its allready been tried on Steam it doesnt appear to work.The methord im using on WON2 use files from both Steam and Won at time when both systems worked the files have just been updated and patched,so a dedicated server on WON2 works.The WON2 devs and mods say this methord works as theres been allready two 3.1 servers that could be played on.

That's my point as far as i can remember its's been tried on Steam it does not work,there's problems with sprites and tnt ment the server would crash(correct me if im wrong?) It's been done and tested on WON2 there's been two 3.1 servers that where allready played on,also the WON2 devs say it will work.

If you want we can try both 1.3b or more likely 3.1 on steam,i don't mind we can mess with this for a few hours/days but i highly doubt it will work as im shure we would all be playing by now if they worked.Anyway you have my msn mssgr details get in contact.People might not like the idea of WON2 i can understand but if nothing else works at least it works with WON2 which is better then nothing.

Only if you want too?I suggest we use WON2 first as everthing is setup my server works as i can join the dedicated server from my normal dod desktop which means theres no reason you shouldn't be able to join too.If things dont work out yeah where try with Steam.
