Ok good news very good news Dedicated sever for 1.3b now works propperly,as i can now connect to the dedicated server on WON2,So bloody go get the danm files ive spent way to much effort and time trying make this work for you guys.Shure we can check out a 3.1 server too now i have half a clue what to do.



There's your proof that it works me joining from dod 1.3b to the dedeicated server



Edit: now uploading the dedeicated server files should be done shortly,instruction how use these files for both for 1.3b and 3.1 later i will post up

This all you need to do if you want dod 3.1 or 1.3b workin as a client and server.

Noteo not use any version of Sturmbot as this will not work and will make the server unuseble(im told Sturmbot 1.5 will work with 3.1 but ive yet to get it workin)

Install Half-Life as normal then hl110 full patch then install 3.1 or 1.3b,now install hl1112_final ok.
For the sever all you need to do is unzip file anyware,once you done this copy your dod folder from Sierra\Half-Life into the main Dedicated server files folder.So it looks like this



Dont touch any of files as they all prepatched

Right you start the server from hlds inside the Dedicated server files folder as you start should look like this



Make shure network is set too LAN otherwise it will not work

Everything as normal



From here onwards you should be able to launch from your dod desto,now browse internet games you should be able too see and join your server as it all works here.Other players bots joining it's an uknown at moment but im told it does work.
