Default Revision 3 VS Media Defender

I dunno how I missed it, but I had just heard about this yesterday.

This sort of behavior is unquestionably illegal. Yet I would not be surprised to see it mostly ignored and largely unpunished. I can only hope that a civil court judge will see it for what it is: a loss of revenue for a legitmate company caused by the actions, willful or otherwise, by another company's reckless actions.

In fact, I would forsee that these sorts of electronic battles between companies will become more and more common in the future, and current legislation is woefully incompetent to deal with it.

Yeah roughly my take on it. I can't recall ever hearing of anything so brazen before.

Probably have to wait awhile to see how it shakes out, though. Court being as slow as it is and all.
