Did anyone read about the operation? They dressed up as rebels and told them they were there to transfer them to another place, the rebels handed them over and they flew off without a shot. lol awesome.

No I really couldn't. I hate FARC. I'm glad they're on the way out. At least one positive thing in this world right now... Some of the forces of the Colombian Army that were captured have been in there for 11 years.

Ya I read that in the article today. New stuff is comin out. Apperently Ingrid Betancourt was supposidly "With" one of the rebels. Thats how she got hepititis. As the story went. Read about the last attemt to free them.
In a secret operation a U.S. official called "brilliant," the Colombian military infiltrated rebel group FARC and deceived its members into giving up 15 hostages including former Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, Colombia's defense ministry said.
