    Default Whats a good program to rip CDs to MP3s?

    I bought a CD today and I want to get it into MP3 format on my machine so I can listen to it more often. Whats a good and free program to let me do that?

    Do you mean free or "free"? I haven't actually ripped anything to MP3 in a long time, come to thing of it. I know winamp does everything really well, but they might want you to pay a small fee for it.

    I meant legitimate free, not stealing it free. I don't have time to go find shit to do illegally anymore, and I actually bought this CD in a real life store with legal tender US currency. I used to have some sort of ripping program on my old computer via my burning program, but I don't have that anymore, and iTunes is retarded to use.

    LAME is the best.

    It's command line, but it's by far the best.

    Good command line for very good quality MP3s:

    -V0 --vbr-new

    no seriously, pick any media player basically and you can rip mp3s...
