Dunno mate, just got a steam message today sayings 'Thanks for buying, here's your pass'. Maybe it's because I got it as a stand alone instead of the Orange Box or summat.

Though i might save it for someone ive been trying to get to play tf2 though has been critical of it because of its cartoony look and his dislike for steam.
