Default Teenage boys in the UK pushing to get the "perfect body"

    Opinions on this topic?

I personally don't think its a good idea for anyone under 17 to work out that hard. And I most definitely do not think its a good idea to work out nearly as often as the report states those kids are. Not only risking epiphyseal slippage and stunting growth, lack of development in the ligaments and connective tissue can cause all sorts of injuries. Hormone levels can get thrown completely out of balance cause possible long term problems down the road. Of course this depends on the individual. Regardless, I think its a horribly bad idea. This isn't just a problem in the UK from what I've seen. Its also a growing concern in the US and a lot of other countries where image is pressed.

Comedy option: God yes, I'm going to England. SimonS can't be left to have all the fun.

Serious answer: Body dismorphia (being unrealistically unhappy with your body image) is not just a problem for women, but for men it's completely overlooked. Who cares about our boys straining themselves to the point of injury or eating nothing but meat and getting heart disease when your precious little daughter won't eat her cheeseburger? The number of men whose physical form can support the Matthew McCaughenhay look is slim. And people like him or models workout almost religiously because they have the time and cash. But look at James Dean, he wasn't super-defined by any stretch, but not one of you fuckers would dare call him a weakling to his face.

What strikes me more is that people in the UK actually have self worth. You'd never know to look at them by in large.

Knob off you Rasputin looking mother fucker

Never was a big fan of gyms as imo there are much funner ways to keep fit when you're a kid (took up skating for example). Saying that though I'm a chubby cunt now so I'm probably not the best authority on this

    @ Cheeto
Fun fact of the day. James Dean had multiple scars from bondage whips all over his body when the coroner examined him.

I see you wankers walking around Disney from time to time... with your pasty white skin, and your capri pants on men and your soccer jerseys that are 5 seasons out of style. Shaved heads and ambiguously bland tattoos of Roses and Tigers.

They let people like you into Disney land? Doesn't America have any problems with sex offenders anymore?

Not really, they just re-termed them "exotically challenged".

These kids should just join a sports team that incorporates weightlifting. Football players go through controlled weightlifting and cardio, without going overboard. And your going to look sexy all the same...

on the flipside football can lead to minor injury, and imagine having a broken bone and freaking out that you cant pump iron for 3 weeks...
