Vista Question - Start Menu Search box

I wonder if anyone can help me out here, a quick google search around found no success...but then, I didn't look for long!

When you click on the start menu, you know that little text box that appears at the bottom? "Start Search"

Well when you type into this it will search programs/files. The problem I find, is I often type in "C:" or "C:\" or "C:\folder\" like it is a run box, but instead of launching this it just searches programs...for instance, if I want to load the "R:\" drive it will launch remote desktop when I type it in....very annoying!

Is there anyway I can set this so it will still search programs, etc but if I type in a drive it will launch that drive instead???

Thanks in advance, +reps and 400 lolwuts donated for the first one who can figure this out!

Change your theme from Windows Vista to Windows Classic and that search box will turn back into the "Run..." prompt.

Mapped network drives are considered different in some very stupid ways by Windows. It's possible (sadly) that they just will not pop up no matter what.
