    Default Serious question about sunglasses

Ok, I got a little delima. I have extremely light sensitive eyes and need my eyes pretty well protected from light all around. I have sunglasses that work very well for me (the lenses at least), but they let in a lot of light on the sides, top and bottom. Oakley Juliet frame in case anyone is curious. What I'm needing is a sort of blinder or add on or something (like cyclopse's from x-men 2 and 3) to block the light from top/bottom and sides. Any suggestions? I've looked at mountain climbing gear and they have something that I thought might work but they don't cover enough of the top and bottom. Of course Oakley won't help me because theres not millions in it for them. I haven't found an eye doc or jeweler (I know several in the area that can make custom molds so thats why I went there) that can't even figure out what I'm talking about either so I'm kind of at a stalemate.

Solid frame glasses should be good for what you are looking for.
Take a look at the Spy lineup. I owned a pair of Spy Coopers but switched to Heilos.

You're looking for side shields for glacier sunglasses. You're right that mountaineering guys wear them, they're great for keeping the glare from snow from blinding you from the side. If you notice, Jamie on Mythbusters wears a pair like that. Julbo Drus, I believe. Anyway, check the Julbo website, you're bound to find something that fits close enough to your glasses and they sell the side shields separately.

I feel like I can't pull off wearing sunglasses. I always look like a cocky douche-guido-Long Island cunt.

Oakley does make some really good sunglasses that block light from all angles though leohmann. I'd kill to be able to pull those off.

Serious About Sunglasses sounds like it'd be a band from Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
