Default [serious cat] electrical question [/serious cat]

ok i just looked at my power supply on my comp and on the input it says this
    input 100-127v-6a, 200-240v-3a 50/60 hz

so what is the max and min input voltage on my power supply? would the min be 100 and the max be 240?
and will it work on an outlet supplying only 110v?

The United States uses I believe the first standard there which is 100-127V AC in their power outlets while most of Europe uses somewhere around 200-240V AC. So depending on what your specific country's standard is, it should work either way as long as you have the correct power brick.

For fuck's sake make sure you have the switch set the right way. You need to set it to the voltage you're NOT using. So if you're on a 110v outlet, put the switch onto 220v.

On my power supply, it says 115. You push the switch and it covers the not used voltage, showing the one you are.

^^ You should see the correct voltage.

Problem with that, Sonic, he might like it.

No. I enjoy giving the pain, not getting it.

Besides, we all know Sonic can't stand to get even close to me. He's so mean. I sent him a nice thank you note for the Christmas present he gave me and he still hates me. :(
