    Default PCIe power question

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814127397

Does this thing need two 6 pin PCIe power adapters or will a 6+2 work with it? My current video card uses molex, so I'm out of the loop with this new standard.

If I remember correctly, you do need a 6 pin PCIe power adapter. I'm not sure if a 6+2 would work.

Pretty sure you can get a splitter to go from a single 6 pin plug to a dual 6 pin or some other sort of conversion.

I'd also like to point out that Leomhan thought he could plug his monitor into his serial/com port and got angry when it didn't work. So take any advice from him with hesitance.
