Hardware suggestions

So I may or not have the possibility to upgrade my computer into something better. Still, I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to current hardware, so I'm asking you guys to suggest me complete PC configurations, except monitors and other peripherals.

I don't need prices, just names and divided into categories, like Middle-range AMD and Intel configuration; and Top of the line AMD and Intel configuration.

This is only so I can have an idea of what's new.

Don't suggest anything from Apple.
