My laptop (my only computer atm) has 2 gigs of RAM. I had forgotten about that. I thought it only had one because of the devil of a time it has running a five year old game like Rome: Total War.
Well, turns out it's other stuff. 1.73 Ghz Celeron is holding me back.
ALSO the shittastic onboard video card that uses the RAM for its processing power.
I know I still wouldn't be able to, say, run Empire: Total War if I threw an independent video card in there...but maybe it's worth it?
A couple hundred now for a better experience with what I have?
Or bite the bullet and just wait until a whole new system is feasible?
(This computer is great for a tappy-typey machine...which is why I bought it.)
